Mega Man is an action, and platform game developed by CAPCOM. This game was first released in a NES in 1987.
Interactivity
There are several interactive controls for the player in this game. If the player pressed 'A' button, the character will jump. Moreover, the character will attack if the player pressed 'B' button. This attack may vary according to the character's avatar which can be acquired during the game.
Concept
Similar like other action games, player is encouraged to finish all levels included in this game. In every levels of the game, the environment used is in an industrial place. Moreover, the character used by the player and all the enemies are robots. In each level, there are many kinds of enemies with different attacks which give various damage to the player. Some of them also have unique ability such as how they protect themselves from player's attacks. Additionally, there are some obstacles within a level that must be passed by the player using several techniques in order to move on to the end of the level. Within a level, player can also acquires several power-ups which can replenish the character's health gauge or add character's life. Scoring system is also included in the game, in which can be increased by obtains power-ups and defeat the opponents.
In the end of the level, the player will be given a boss, in which must be defeated to finish the level. By default, the player's character attack his enemies by using standard weapon called standard blaster. However, the player is given a weapon that works similarly with it's boss attack after the boss had been defeated.
Settings
From the main menu, the player is given various levels which can be differentiated by choosing the boss of the level.
Whenever the player choose/ start a level, his/ her character is given a full hp gauge with a standard blaster which can be changed by the player if he/ she had owned a boss weapon.
Goal
In the end of the level, the player will be given a boss, in which must be defeated to finish the level. By default, the player's character attack his enemies by using standard weapon called standard blaster. Challenge
After the player had accomplished all the levels given by the game from the beginning, a new level is appeared which must be finished to complete the game. Among other levels, this final level is the hardest game to be played. Within the level, the player must defeat more than 1 boss, and an advanced techniques must be known to finish the level.
Story
The genius Dr. Light and his assistant, Dr. Willy, co-create the humanoid robot Mega Man alongside six other advanced robots: Cut Man, Guts Man, Ice Man, Bomb Man, Fire Man, and Elec Man. These robots were designed to perform industrial tasks including construction, demolition, logging, electrical operations, or labor in extreme temperatures, for the benefit of Monsteropolis's citizens. Dr. Wily grows disloyal of his partner and reprograms these six robots to aid himself in taking control of the world. Dr. Light sends Mega Man to defeat his fellow creations and stop Dr. Wily.
